● Confirm that your pilot has a tandem paragliding license. Check his flying experience. A license is only granted if a pilot has 500 hours of flight time and 5 years of solo flying experience. Examine his safety record as well.
● Inspect the equipment to ensure that it is not worn out. A glider has a lifespan of 500 to 700 hours before it must be discarded.
● According to the guidelines, all paragliding activity must stop one hour before sunset or at 6 p.m., whichever comes first. This rule must be followed.
● Do not go paragliding if it is windy or raining. One of the leading causes of crashes is bad weather.
● Fly with an intoxicated pilot. You must not be under the influence as well.
● Make sure the pilot has an extra parachute in case of an emergency landing.
